And trust me, it’s been dropped, tossed, and battered in ways you can’t even imagine. Yet never once has it gone out of shape. In fact, the more scratches and dents it collects, the more character it seems to have — almost like it’s writing its own travel diary. My friends sometimes joke that with its shiny silver look I resemble an arms dealer, which, funnily enough, I take as a compliment.Now, after two decades, the only issues are a slightly stiff lock and a worn-out lining. The repair quote was nearly 8,000 New Taiwan dollars. Not cheap, but at the end of the day, if it lasts me another twenty years, that’s a bargain.For me, this suitcase is more than just luggage. It’s been a trusty sidekick on some of my most memorable adventures.
